The breakfast was very good and the room itself was beautiful and comfortable. Excellent location that puts you in walking distance of many local highlights. We are adding the touches to our lobby, new ground floor bedrooms and a new food concept for our guests. During our refurbishment, we will not be in a position to accept lunch, dinner or group dining bookings. We will be offering our guests breakfast and we will be advising our guests to pre book a breakfast time. Afternoon Tea bookings will be available on Saturday’s and Sunday’s. Our Drinks and Cocktails will be available from 3pm until 11pm in our lobby.
There are 40 rooms in four ascending styles, with cream palettes and tweedy fabrics throughout. The standard doubles are homely and modern with a taupe leather headboard and silver bedside tables. There’s a tea tray, complimentary water and chargeable basket of wine, nibbles and chocolate. Deluxe rooms offer more bedroom space and larger bathrooms with separate tub and shower, while standard bathrooms are shower only. Wall dispensers of Gilchrist & Soames toiletries are a welcome touch in all rooms. Our deluxe hotel rooms consist of one King or two separate single beds.
